Königsberg Cathedral is a Brick Gothic-style Cathedral. During the second World War, in late August 1944, it was destroyed by British bombers. Reconstruction began in the early 1990s, shortly after Kaliningrad was opened to foreigners.

Adjoining the northeast corner of the cathedral you find the tomb of the german philosopher Immanuel Kant.
